    Default Deluxe console coming up...

I have a 2007 218 DLV with the deluxe console. For some reason the console keeps coming up. I have replaced the screws with larger ones, added more screws, applied more 5200, etc. Is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone fiberglassed the console to the floor? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

im surprised. you would think screw and glue would do it. was it warm enough for the 5200 to set?

'07? What's your warranty say? CS may want to help just to figure out why it happened.

Could be it got dirty before it was put down the first time and your still trying to glue to dirt instead of the floor. If the glue didn't take, the screws may have backed out due to movement. May require a complete removal, thorough scraping and meticulous solvent cleaning before the next attempt.

Do you have a T-top fastenened to the console only? If not I would be in contact with Carolina Skiff to learn " why " it is doing this. Is the floor to "thin" or the resin "wrong" or like the previous post was it put down "dirty" ??? I just pulled mine on a 2005 semi vee and i had to use a putty knife and cut it free before removing. The only other thing I can think of is would be if a very harsh cleaner was used that somehow " softened" the 5200. Keep us posted.

I dont have a t-top, it was definetly warm enough for the 5200 to set, and have used nothing other than soap and water. Guess i will contact carolina skiff and see what they say.

I would see what Skiff has to say. I think the issue should be resolved by the factory. Good luck and speed doing so..
